I really want to clean my house. As in, one whole day of lots of bleach and soap and EVERYTHING wiped over and smelling like hospital bleach. But thanks to the worker's strike in Toronto, I can't, because the goddamn trash is just lying there because no one is there to take it. It's so irritating (and unhygienic). And a few of my flat-mates aren't exactly helping matters by having drinking nights every two days and SPILLING alcohol on the floor, and generally being a mess.

Walking in Chinatown is worse. Trash is literally FLYING everywhere. I almost got pelted in the face with a plastic bag while trying to walk to the bank -_-

I wish this strike was over. REALLY SOON PLEASE. Because I really reaaaally want to start cleaning. The state of the house is quite inhumane right now.

"While going public with the offer angered union leaders, Miller said it may have prompted some action at the bargaining table.

YES. OK. YOU'RE SERIOUS. NEGOTIATORS ARE BEING SERIOUS. NOW CAN WE MOVE ON AND START UP THE CITY AGAIN AND YOU KNOW, CARRY ON WITH THE SYSTEM. BECAUSE THE CITY NEEDS TO START WORKING PROPERLY AGAIN. K THANKS.
